CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

  • Three and a half year (1992-1995) starter at left tackle. Moved as starter midway through his true freshman year.
  • Did not allow a sack as a senior and just one in final two years.
  • Led team to its highest rushing average since 1976.
  • Also won the NCAA indoor title (shot putter) in Track and Field 1996.
  • Selected by Baltimore Ravens in first round (fourth pick overall) of 1996 NFL draft. And earned all-rookie honors.
  • 11-time Pro Bowl Selection (1997-2007)
  • Member of 2001 Super Bowl champions (Baltimore)

  • 1995 Outland Trophy Winner (UCLA's first)
  • Concensus first-team All-American in 1995
  • Other Awards: Columbus Touchdown Club Lineman of the Year, UPI Lineman of the Year, Runner-up for the Lombardi Award, 1995 Pac-10 Morris Trophy (Offensive Lineman), 3rd team All-American in 1994.
  • Jersey No. 79 Retired in 1997
  • Inducted into the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006.
