1947 Rose Bowl

The 1947 Rose Bowl marked the first PCC-Big Nine matchup agreement (what is now Pac 10-Big Ten).

The game included a kickoff returned 103 yards for a touchdown by Al Hoisch, an unbreakable UCLA record.

Coached by Bert LaBrucherie and led by the team's consensus All-American, Burr Baldwin, the Bruins recorded it's first 10-win season and first undefeated regular season.
