- Lettered as halfback in 1926,27,28.
COACHING HIGHLIGHTS
- Returned to alma mater as Head Coach from 1945 to 1948.
- Overall record was 23-16-0.
- Headed his team to it's first 10-win season in 1946.
- The team were PCC Champions in his second year as head coach.
- Later became Caltech head coach for 19 years.
ACCOLADES
- Inducted into UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame in 1987.
